the carbon having 3 Hydrogens attached to it is called as a primary carbon

the carbon having 2 Hydrogen attached to it is called as a secondary carbon

the carbon having 1 Hydrogen attached to it is called as a tertiary carbon

the carbon having no Hydrogen attached to it is called as quaternary carbon

I have marked all the primary secondary and tertiary C atoms in the attachment

there are 5 primary C atoms , 3 secondary , 3 tertiary C atoms present

no quaternary C is present in this compound
