Concept:

Cyclic Approach: The uses of the cyclic method vary depending on whether there are even or odd teams. The first team is positioned at the top of the right side in the first scenario. On the left side, the remaining team numbers are arranged in ascending order sequentially before moving higher. The bye is fastened to the top of the right side in the latter case, and the rest of the process is then carried out. Teams alternate between the right and left.

When N is odd then, the number of rounds will be N. When N is even then,  the number of rounds will be (N-1).

To find:

Find the number of rounds in cyclic method when N=7.

Solution:

the number of rounds in cyclic method when N=7 is the same as the value of  N i.e 7 because  N is odd.
