Answer:

Number of rooms=21

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : In a examination, number of student in Hindi English and mathematics are 60, 84, 108.

To find : The number of rooms required, if in each room the same number of student are to be seated and all of them being the same subject?

Solution :

The number of students seated in each room would be H.C.F of all the three values above i.e. 60, 84 , 108

HCF : Highest Common Factor,

60 =2×2×3×5

84=2×2×3×7

108=2×2×3×3×3

HCF of 60,84,108= 2×2×3=12

Now no. of rooms required are total number of students divided by no. of students in each room.

Number of rooms = (60+84+108)/12

Number of rooms = 252/12

Number of rooms = 21

Therefore the number of rooms required is 21

Hope it helps :) ❤
