Answer:

How many sulphur atoms are present in 0.5 moles of H2SO4?

First of all 1 mole of sulphuric acid i.e H2SO4 contains elements in the ratio of 2:1:4 i.e it contains

2 moles of Hydrogen

1 mole of Sulphur

4 moles of Oxygen

But as you have considered 0.5 moles of H2SO4 so the corresponding ratio of elements will also be changed by the same factor of 0.5

Now we have learned that there are 0.5 moles of sulphur present in 0.5 moles of H2SO4 .

According to Avagadro’s law 1 mole of any substance contains 6.022×1023 molecules so in our case 1/2 moles of sulphur contains 1/2×6.022×1023 atoms.

I.e 3.011×1023 atoms are present in 0.5 moles of H2SO4

hope it helps you
