Given : polynomial, (x+1)²(x+2)(x-3)

To Find : The number of zeroes

Solution:

polynomial, (x+1)²(x+2)(x-3)

Zeroes

(x + 1)² = 0

(x + 1)(x + 1) = 0

x + 1= 0, x + 1 = 0

x = - 1 , - 1

(x+2) = 0

=> x = - 2

(x-3) = 0

=> x = 3

Hence zeroes are  - 1 , -1 , - 2 , 3

Hence there are 4 zeroes
