• Let the number be x

• so according to given situation there is a number is added to its half it gives 30

So if the number is x then it's half will be x/2

According to the question :-

➙ number + number/2 = 30

➙ x + x/2 = 30

➙ ( 2x + x )/2 = 30 × 2

➙ 2x+ x = 30 × 2

➙ 3x = 60

➙ x = 60/3

➙ x = 20

hence the number is 20 ( option b)
