The required number is 545545

Given:

When a number is divided by the sum of 545 and 454 gives six times their difference as the quotient and 91 as the remainder is

To find:

The number which is divided by the sum of 545 and 454

Solution:

Here, Sum of 545 and 454 = 999

         Difference of 545 and 454 = 91

Let x be the required number

Given that when x is divided by 999 the quotient is 6 times of 91 and the remainder is 91

As we know Dividend = Divisor × Quotient + Remainder

From given data,

Dividend = the required number x

Divisor  = 999

Quotient = 6 × 91

Remainder = 91

⇒ x = [999 × (6×91) ] + 91 = [ 999 × 546 ] + 91 = 545454+91 = 545545

The required number is 545545
