The numberater of a rational number is 2 less them the denominator. when 1 is subtracted from both the numerator and denominatory , the numbers simplest from is ¹/² . what is the rational numbers​

let the denpminator be x

then...the rational no. is x-2/x

(x-2-1)/x-1 =1/2 => x-3/x-1 = 1/2

=> x=2 therefore the rational no. is

0 is the answer mate...

BUT I HAVE A DOUBT....THAT I THINK...SOMETHING IS MISSING OR QUESTION IS A BIT INCOMPLETE....BUT IF THE ANSWER IS CORRECT THEN THATS FINE....
