HCF of (525,3000) is 75 .

see, 525 and 3000 are divisible by 3,5,15,25,75 but HCF means Higest Common Factor and 75 is the highest amongst them.

another way of solving this question:-

by using Euler's Division Lemma

according to this, any number 'a' can be represented in the form: bx + c where a,b are real numbers.

lets take the example of your question:-

a=3000
b=525

3000=525*5 +375
525=375*1 +150
375=150*2+75
150=75*2+0
when c becomes 0 the number in the place of the bolded one is the HCF
 so the HCF(3000,525) is 75

Answer: If it is a one mark question you can directly write 75 because HCF is the highest common factor and here it is given that 525 & 3000 both are divisible by 3, 5, 15, 25, 75 here highest factor is 75

Step-by-step explanation: But if the question is of 3 marks you must use eucilds division lemma

HCF of 525 and 3000 is

3000=525*5+375

525=375*1+150

375=150*2+75

150=75*2+0

Hence HCF of (525,3000) is 75
