let the original fraction be x/y

as per the question

  =  > \frac{x + x \times 15\%}{y - y \times 20\%}  =  \frac{230}{240}  \\  =  >  \frac{115x}{80y}  =  \frac{23}{24}  \\  =  >  \frac{x}{y}  =  \frac{23 \times 80}{24 \times 115}   \\ =  >  \frac{x}{y} =  \frac{46}{69}
