Let the numerator be x and denominator be y
x/y=3/4
4x=3y
4x - 3y=0 .....(1)

x/y + 3= 3/5
5x=3(y+3)
5x=3y+9
5x-3y=9 .....(2)

Applying elimination in (1) and (2)

4x-3y=0
5x-3y=9
- + -
_______
-x=-9
x=9

Putting x=9 in (1)
4(9)-3y=0
-3y= -36
y=12

Rational number is 9/12

3x /4x+3=3/5

5(3x)=3(4x+3)

15x=12x+9

15x-12x=9

3x=9

x=9/3

=3

Now put on the equation.....

9/12
