you mean;
x/y = 5/11
And
x+7 / y+7 = 2/3

??

If so then.... the x/y is itself 5/11!!

let the rational number be x
5x/11x......(1)
5x+7/11x+7=2x/3x
(5x+7)(3x)=(11x+7)(2x)
15x²+21x=22x²+14x
7x=7x²
x=1
therefore, the rational number is 5/7

0lovesenergyp9mq81: if we assume x to be rational number and if x=1 then how can you say that x=5/7???
AyushAgarwal191121: we have assumed the no. as x and then we are using ratio
0lovesenergyp9mq81: original number is 5/11
AyushAgarwal191121: my answer is also 5/11
AyushAgarwal191121: are u blind
0lovesenergyp9mq81: please review your answer!!!
AyushAgarwal191121: no need
