let the denominator is x the numerator is x-2

fraction = x-2/x

according to question if 2 is added to the fraction

new fraction = x-2+2/x+2= 8/3

=>3x = 8(x+2)

=>3x-8x = 16

=>x=- 16/5

fraction =-16/5-2÷16/5

=-26/16
