Step-by-step explanation:

ok let's consider numerator as x

and denominator becoms y

according to given condition

y = x+2

x-y= -2..........(1)

according to second condition,

x+1/y+1 = 2/3

therefore,

3(x+1) = 2(y+1).........(cross multiply)

3x+3 = 2y+2

therefore,

3x-2y = 2-3

3x-2y = -1............(2)

now we have got 2 simultaneous equations

multiplying (1) by 2 we get

2x-2y = -4.............(3)

subtracting (3) from (2)

3x-2y = -1

-(2x-2y)= -4

3x-2y = -1

-2x+2y= 4

_________

x=3

substituting x=3 in equation 1, we get

3-y = -2

-y = -2-3

-y = -5

y = 5

hope it helps you
