Let , the numerator of a fraction be x and denominator of a fraction be y .

Therefore, the fraction will be x / y .

From 1st condition,

x = 2 - y

x + y = 2 .....(1)

Now , from 2nd condition ,

x / y+1 = 1 / 2

2x = y+1

2x - y = 1 .....(2)

Now , adding equation (1) & (2)

x + y = 2

+ 2x - y = 1

We get , 3x = 3

Therefore , x = 1

Substitute the value for x =1 in equation (1)

, We get

x + y = 2

1 + y = 2

Y = 2- 1

Therefore, y = 1

The fraction will be 1 / 1 .
