Answer:

numerator = x-3

denominator = x

x-3/x

_______________________________

When 2 is added

Now

numerator = x-3+2

denominator = x+2

fraction obtained is 29/30

numerator = x-1

denominator = x+2

x-1/x+2 = 29/30

cross multiply

29(x+2) = 30(x-1)

29x+58 = 30x-30

58+30=30x-29x

88=x

Denominator = 88

Numerator = 85
