let the denominator be x

According to question,

numerator is 3 less than the denominator ,

so the numerator = x-3

hence the fraction becomes.
 \frac{x - 3}{x}

ATQ,

If 1 is added to both the fraction is decresed by 1/15.

 \frac{x - 3  + 1}{x + 1}  =  \frac{x - 3}{x}  -  \frac{1}{15}

 \frac{x - 2}{x + 1}  =  \frac{15(x - 3) - x}{15x}  \\  \\

 \frac{x - 2}{x + 1}  =  \frac{15x - 45 - x}{15x}  \\  \\

15x(x - 2) = (14x - 45)(x + 1) \\  \\

 {15x}^{2}  - 30x =  {14x}^{2}  + 14x - 45x - 45

 {x}^{2}  + 61x + 45 = 0 \\  \\

AsifAhamed4: factorize!
AsifAhamed4: yeah please
