According to the 2nd Condition:-
x+1/y+1=7/4------------(2)
Putting 'y' from equation(1) in equation(2):-
(x+1)/(x-3+1)=7/4
(x+1)/(x-2)=7/4
Cross multiplying on Both the sides:-
4(x+1)=7(x-2)
4x+4=7x-14
7x-4x=14+4
3x=18
x=6
y=x-3
y=6-3
y=3
