Answer:

\frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the Numerator be y and the Denominator be x.

According to the 1st Condition:-

y=x-3------------(1)

According to the 2nd Condition:-

x+1/y+1=7/4------------(2)

Putting 'y' from equation(1) in equation(2):-

(x+1)/(x-3+1)=7/4

(x+1)/(x-2)=7/4

Cross multiplying on Both the sides:-

4(x+1)=7(x-2)

4x+4=7x-14

7x-4x=14+4

3x=18

x=\frac{18}{3}

x=6

y=x-3

y=6-3

y=3

Fraction=\frac{y}{x}=\frac{3}{6}=\frac{1}{2}
