Let the denominator =x

That implies, numerator =x-3

(X-3+3/x+3)=2/3

=x/x+3=2/3

Cross multiplying

3x=2 (x+3)

3x=2x+6

3x-2x=6

That implies, x=6

And the fraction is, x-3/x

=6-3/6

=3/6

=1/2
