Step-by-step explanation:

let denominator be x

therefore numerator is 3 more than numerator i.e x+3

now fraction is : numerator/denominator=(x+3)/x

if both numerator and denominator are increase by 5 then our fraction will be

(x+3+5)/x+5=10/7

x+8/x+5=10/7

(x+8)7=10(x+5)

7x+56=10x+50

7x-10x=50-56

-3x=-6

x=-6/-3

x=2

therefore denominator is x=2

and numerator is x+3=2+3=5

therefore fraction is 5/2 ans.
