Hi friend!!!
Let x-4 be the numerator and x be the denominator of a fraction
→Given , If 1 is added to both its numerator and denominator, it become 1/2
→(x-4+1)/(x+1)=1/2
by cross multiplying, we get
2(x-3)=(x+1)
2x-6=x+1
x=7
so, x-4 will be 7-4=3
so, the required fraction is 3/7
I hope this Will help u ;)
