Answer:

Let the fraction be

 \frac{a}{b}

Numerator= denominator - 4

a = b - 4

= b - a = 4

If 1 added to both numerator and denominator then fraction =

 \frac{1}{2}

 \frac{a + 1}{b + 1}  =  \frac{1}{2}

2a + 2 = b + 1

2a - b = -1

(2a - b) + (b - a) = 4 - 1

So,

a = 3 & b = 7

Hope it help's you
