SOLUTION:-

Let the denominator be x &

Let numerator be x -6

Given:

If 3 is added to numerator the fraction become 2/3.

Therefore,

 = > \frac{x - 6 + 3}{x} = \frac{2}{3} \\ \\ = > 3x - 18 + 9 = 2x \: \: \: \: \: [cross \: multiplication]\\ \\ = > 3x - 2x = 18 - 9 \\ \\ = > x = 9

So,

Numerator is, x-6
