Let the numerator and denominator of the required fraction be x and y .
Given, x= 6-y
y=6+x.
Also given ,
x+3 = 2
-------- ---
y = 3
3 (x+3) = 2 (y)
3x+9= 2 (6+x)
3x+9 = 12+2x
3x-2x=12-9
x=3
y= 6+x
y=9
Original fraction= 3/9
