Answer:

let x be the numerator

and y be the denominator

according to the question

y-7= x

 \frac{x + 2}{y + 9}  =  \frac{x}{y}

put x = y-7

 \frac{y - 7 + 2}{y + 9}  =  \frac{y - 7}{y}

 \frac{y - 5}{y + 9}  =  \frac{y - 7}{y}

y(y-5) = (y-7)(y+9)

y²-5y = y²+9y-7y-63

y²-y² = 2y+5y-63

7y =63

y=9

y-7=x

x = 2

fraction = 2/9
