Let the Denominator be ' x '

Then, Numerator will be' x - 6 '

According to question ,

→ (x-6)+3/x = 2/3

→(x-6+3)/x = 2/3

→ (x-3)/x = 2/3

→ 3(x-3) = 2x

→ 3x-9 = 2x

→ 3x-2x = 9

∴ x = 9

It means denominator is 9.

Now,

Numerator

= x- 6

= 9-6

= 3

So,

The required fraction is '  3/9 '.

Answer:

numerator=7.8

denomenator= 1.8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let deno. be x then the nume. will be x-6

x-6/x +3=2/3

x-6+3x/x=2/3

4x-6/x=2/3

3(4x-6)=2x

12x-18=2x

10x=18

x=18/10

x=1.8

1.8+6=7.8
