Given that , The numerator of a rational number is 4 less than it's denominator & if one is added to both it's numerator and denominator it becomes ⅔ .
Exigency To Find : The Rational Number ?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
❍ Let's say that , Denominator of rational number be x & Numerator of rational number be ( x - 4 ) , i.e. Numerator of a rational number is 4 less than it's denominator .
⠀⠀⠀⠀━━━ If one is added to both it's numerator and denominator it becomes ⅔ .
Therefore,
- Numerator of Rational number is : ( x - 4 ) = ( 11 - 4 ) = 7 &,
- Denominator of Rational number is : x = 11 .
⠀⠀⠀⠀∴ Hence , The Rational Number is 7/11 .
