Let the denominator be x,then numerator will be x-3

so,the fraction is x/(x+3)

Now,

Acccording to question

3x/(x+3+20) =1/8

24x/(x+23) =1

24x=x+23

x=23

so, numerator=23

denominator=x+3=23+3=26

so, fraction is,23/26
