Hey buddy !

Here is your answer !

Let the denominator be x.

Then numerator will be x-4

Again the numerator = 2(x-4)

Again the denominator = x + 4

According to the question,

2(x-4)/x+4 = 14/15

2x - 8/x + 4 = 14/15

Cross multiply.

15(2x-8) = 14(x+4)

30x - 120 = 14x + 56

30x - 14x = 56 + 120

16x = 176

x = 176/16

x = 11

So the numerator = x-4 = 11-4 = 7

The denominator = x = 11

Therefore the number is 7/11.

Hope it helps you dear friend.
