Hii friend,

Let the denominator of the rational Number be X.

Then,

Numerator = X-3

Therefore,

Fraction = Numerator / Denominator = X-3/X.

According to question,.

1-(X-3)/ X+2 = 1/3

1-X+3 / X+2 = 1/3

-X+4/X+2 = 1/3

3(-X+4) = 1(X+2)

-3X+12 = X+2

3X+X = 12-2

4X = 10

X = 10/4 = 5/2

Therefore,

Denominator = X = 5/2

Numerator = X-3 = 5/2 -3/1 = 5-6/2 = -1/2

Rational Number = Numerator/Denominator = -1/2 ÷ 5/2 = -1/5

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.... :-)

Step-by-step explanation:

n/d

1-x+3/x+2=1/3

3 (1-x+3)=1 (x+2)

3-3x+9=x+2

-3x+12=x+2

-3x-x=2-12

-4x =-10

4x =10

x =10/4

x =5/2

according to the question

2+2=4

5+3-1=7

=4/7
