The numerator of the fraction is two less than its denominator. If 2 is added to each numerator and denominator then the fraction is increased by 4/35. Find the fraction.

let X be the denominator then numerator= x-2

from question we have,

(x-2)+2/X+2= 4/35

35(X)= 4(X+2)

35x=4x+8

31x=8

x=8/31

numerator = 8-62/31 = -54/31
