The numerator offer a fraction is 6 less than the denominator. If 3 is added to the numerator, the fraction becomes equal to 2/3 .find the original fraction.

Let the numerator of fraction be x

so denominator is x+6

so fraction x/x+6

By the condition given in your question we get equation

x+3/x+6=2/3

3 (x+3)=2 (x+6)

3x+9=2x+12

x=3

so original fraction is 3/9
