B. Drinking water can become contaminated with feces.
As you know that cholera is caused by a bacteria called "Vibrio Cholera" and its mode of transmission is through contaminated food and water. So, during rainy seasons it seen that due to blockage in the drainage system the fecal matter floats and reaches one of the sources of drinking water like lake, river...etc.
