Subject: Odd-even formula — an effective initiative

Dear Sir

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw your attention to the initiative by Chief Minister Mr Arvind Kejriwal to control pollution in Delhi in the form of the odd-even formula for road transport. This has restricted the plying of cars on the road on the basis of odd and even numbers.

Although the initiative did cause some inconvenience to the public yet for a safe environment and to breathe fresh air such initiatives are a must. In fact, we are the ones who are polluting our mother earth, so we should be the one who should take care of it and ensure a pollution-free environment and be ready to make any sacrifices for the same.
