probabilty of winning of one guy = 1/4 + 1/5 + 1/6 = 37/60

doubts?? ask

parisakura98pari: do u want to know how ans came ?
Jaykatira: yes
parisakura98pari: its easy odds in favour means ratio of no of favourable outcomes to no of unfavourable one or say ratio of probability of occuring to probability of not occuring......
parisakura98pari: suppose now p(boy1) = a , p(boy2) = b and p(boy3) = c
parisakura98pari: A/Q : a/b+c = 1/3 ==== b+c/a = 3 and b/a+c = 1/4 ====a+c/b = 4 and c/a+b = 1/5 ====== a+b/c = 5
parisakura98pari: now a+b+c/a = 4 , a+b+c/b = 5 , a+b+c/c = 6
parisakura98pari: therefore a/a+b+c = 1/4 , b/a+b+c = 1/5 ,c/a+b+c = 1/6
parisakura98pari: so probability of winning of only one = 1/4 + 1/5 + 1/6
parisakura98pari: actually it should be n(boy1) = a , n(boy2) = b and n(boy3) = c no of favourable outcomes....got that?
