Hi matie.......✌✌

Good evening !!!

Question :-

The odometer of a bike reads 1600 km at the start of the trip and 2000 km at the end of the trip. If the bike took 16 hrs, calculate the average speed of the bike in m/s.

Answer :-

Average Speed = total distance/total time taken

→ Distance travelled = 2000-1600 = 400km

→ Time taken = 16 hours

Average speed = \frac{400}{16}=\frac{50}{2}=25km/hr

average speed of this bike is 25 km/hr

*In m/s = \frac{25*1000}{60*60}\\\\\frac{5}{18}*25\\\\6.94m/s (approx.)

∴ Average speed of this bike is 25km/hr or 6.94m/s (approx.)
