Answer:

The car reads=2000km

trip ends at =2400km

=2400-2000km

=400km

average speed=total distance /total time taken

average speed=400/8

=50kmh-1

ms-1

50×1000/3600

13.888889

Answer

Average speed formula = total distance/ total time taken

average speed in km/ hr = 50km/hr

average speed in m/ s. = 13.888m/s

explaination:-

Initial odometer reading = 2000km

Final odometer reading = 2400km

Total distance travelled = 2400-2000

= 400 km

Total time taken = 8 hr

Average speed in km/hr

avg speed = 400/8

= 50 km/hr

Average speed in m/s

note 1 km = 1000m

1 hr = 60 minutes

1 minute = 60 sec.

1 hr = 60×60

3600sec

average speed = 50 ×1000/3600

= 13.888 m/s

i hope this will helps u
