The odometer of a car reads 2000 km at the start of a trip and 28
00 km at the end of the trip. If the trip take took 8 h, calculate the average speed of the car in km/h and m/s.

❤️please mark me as brainliest answer❤️

km/h=100

m/s=27.7778

Explanation:

distance in km =2800-2000=800km

time=8h

speed=distance/time

=800/8

=100km/h

distance in m=800000m

time=28800s

speed=distance/time

=800000/28800

=27.7778(approx.)

SHORTCUT

km/h×5/18=m/s

100km/h×5/18

=27.7778m/s(approx.)

Answer:

100km/h and and 27.78 m/s

Explanation:

odometer is an device which reads the total distance travelled by the vehicle

Now, before starting of the trip it shows 2000km means it has already travelled that particular distance before the trip start

Now, at the end of the trip it shows 2800km which means that during these trip it has travelled only 2800-2000 km = 800 km

Now, the time taken by it to travel 800km is 8h

Therefore, Speed = Distance/Time

= 800/8 km/h

= 100km/h

Now convert it into m/s by multiplying it by 5/18

ie. = 100*5/18 m/s

= 27.78 m/s
