ANSWER:-

\huge\boxed{\fcolorbox{red}{pink}{Your's Answer}}

Given:-

start of trip- 5000 km

end of trip - 5500 km

Total time - 10 h

To find:- average speed in:-

(a) km/h

(b) m/s

Solution:-

Total distance = 5500-5000

= 500 km

average \: speed =  \frac{total \: distance}{total \: time}

 =  \frac{500}{10}

 = 50km</em><em>/</em><em>h</em><em>

In m/s----->

average \: speed(in \: m</em></strong><strong><em>/</em></strong><strong><em>s) = average \: speed(in \: km</em></strong><strong><em>/</em></strong><strong><em>h) \times  \frac{5}{18}

 = 50 \times  \frac{5}{18}

 = 13.88m</em></strong><strong><em>/</em></strong><strong><em>s</em></strong><strong><em>
