The LCM of two coprime numbers is thier product.

Proof:

Let the two coprime numbers be p and q respectively.

Since, Coprime numbers don't have common factors other than 1, Therefore the prime factorization of p and q are:

=> p = p × 1

=> q = q × 1

We know,

LCM = product of prime factors with highest power

==> LCM = p × q × 1

==> LCM = pq

Hence, We can say that the LCM of two coprime numbers is thier product.
