morning Lencho — who knew his fields intimately

— had done nothing else but see the sky towards

the north-east.

Lencho was in expectation of rain as he had grown corn in his field. He had worked hard in his field.

All he needed was downpour i.e. rain.

Rain is required for the crops to grow more. He had a great hope for good harvest.

Throughout the morning, he was waiting for the rain and was starring the sky.

This shows his desperation for good crops and his expectations with the God to shower rain.
