The open circuit terminal voltage
of a battery is 12.6 V. When a
resistance R = 4 ohm is connected
between the terminals of the
battery, the terminal voltage of
the battery is 10.4 V. what is the

Answer:

V1=12.6V

V2= 10.4V

R1=4 ohm

R2 =?

V=IR

 \frac{v1}{v2}  =  \frac{r1}{r2}

 \frac{12.6}{10.4}  =  \frac{4}{r2}

 \frac{r2}{4}  =  \frac{10.4}{12.6}

R2=3.3ohm
