Given :-

The opposite angles of a Parallelogram are (2y+5)° and (y+10)°

To find :-

The value of y

Solution :-

Given that

The opposite angles of a Parallelogram = (2y+5)° and (y+10)°

We know that

Opposite angles in a Parallelogram are equal.

Therefore, (2y+5)° = (y+10)°

=> 2y-y = 10°-5°

=> y = 5°

Therefore, y = 5°

Answer :-

The value of y is 5°

Check :-

If y = 5° then (2y+5)°

= (2×5+5)°

= 10°+5°

= 15°

If y = 5° then (y+10)°

= (5+10)°

= 15°

Therefore, They are equal.

Verified the given relations in the given problem.

Used formulae:-

Opposite angles in a Parallelogram are equal.
