The opposite sides of a cube are painted with red, yellow and Green colour. It is then cut into 64 small cubes of equal size. How many cubes does not have any faces painted ?

A cube has 6 faces ,12 edges and 8 corner

If we cut it into small and equal pieces of cube we get =

faces×corner/edges

=(6×8)/12

=4 stacks

And get total cubes=(4)^3

=64

And have non painted cubes=

4×9

=36(which make cuboid)
