Answer:

9cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Since ,the opposite sides of parallelogram are equal

=> 3x + 2 = 5x - 8

=> 2 + 8 = 5x - 3x

=> 10 = 2x

=> x = 10 /2 = 5

1st side = 3x + 2 = 3×5+2 = 17cm

2nd side = 5x - 8 = 5×5 - 8 = 17cm

3rd side = 2x - 1 = 2×5 -1 = 9cm

Since , 1st and 2nd side are equal then 3rd and 4th sides are equal.

Therefore , 4th side = 3rd side = 9cm
