Usually first ionization energy increases while going from right of the rock on the table but decreases as we go down a column fluorine will have the highest first ionization energy and franciny would have the least however the trend have exceptions. Going from group 2A to 3A,(Be to B for example) will show decrease and same for the 5A to 6A (N to O ,for eg.) because of how their electrons orbital and structured in this particular groups.
