Brazil Physiographic relief comprises of 5 parts namely North, North east, South, South East and the central west. Northern portion comprises of Amazonian rain forest and Guiana Highlands. North east consist of one third of the territory of the country. There are numerous cities in the area dating back to the 16th century AD. South east area comprises of 40% of the region of Brazil and contains a region called Minas Geras.
