Plastids

The plastids are the only cell organelles which are limited to a plant cell. They are of 3 types, viz.,

  • Chloroplasts: They contain chlorophyll which provide green colour to them. It also carries photosynthesis. It is present in stem, leaves, etc. green parts.
  • Chromoplasts: They contain pigments which helps to provide colour to fruits, flowers, etc.
  • Leucoplasts: They store fat granules, protein, starch, etc. They are transparent or of white colour.

Also, cell wall is a basic thing in a cell limited to plant cells.
