Plastids are double-membrane organelles which are found in the cells of plants and algae. Plastids are responsible for manufacturing and storing of food. These often contain pigments that are used in photosynthesis and different types of pigments that can change the colour of the cell.

Organ present only in plant cell is plastids. Classes are of three types chromoplasts, chloroplast and leucoplast. Chromoplast give colour to the parts of the plant, chloroplast contain chlorophyll which provide only the green colour to the leaves or stands. Chromoplast has every colour except the green colour. Leucoplast store nutrients like proteins oils and carbohydrates. Plastics are double membrane is organelles which in which theOuter membrane is for Mabel due to the presence of porridge protein.
