[ (a) Centrosomes ]

Centrioles and centrosomes are mostly involved in cell division and are exclusively found in animal cells .

They are one of the most important cell organelles which are found close to the nucleus .

  • Chloroplast

Chloroplast is the main site of photosynthesis . it is filled with a green pigment called chlorophyll and is found in the leaf . It helps in conversion of sunlight water and nutrients into Oxygen and sugars .

  • Cell wall

➜ Cell wall is a cellulosic substance which forms the outer layer of the cells found in plants . This cannot be seen in animal cells . This is necessary for protection against heavy temperature , winds , parasites and etc.

  • Cell membrane

Cell membrane is the outer layer found in both plants and animals . In plant cells cell membrane is covered by cell wall . It only allows some substances to go in and out of the surface and hence it is called as semipermeable membrane .
